I believed this approach was novel enough to raise capital, and early interest confirmed that belief. I had planned a $5 million seed round and secured $4 million in commitments based on two key insights:

One of our committed investors asked about AI voice cold calling. While my newly formed team and I had no intention of offering AI cold calling (for both legal and ethical reasons), the discussion led to a striking conclusion:
We could build a fully customized AI cold calling tool for any client in under 48 hours.
That moment crystallized a larger truth: There is no defensible AI GTM technology today.
